The school – both students and teachers are divided into four houses – Lily, Lotus. Rose and Sunflower. Inter-house competitions are conducted in almost Co-scholastic activities. As per the need of CCE many cultural activities and competitions are conducted so that every student can excel in one activity or the other.
Every year a Cultural Fest is conducted in the month of November when the students get a chance to compete with each other in various aesthetic and performing arts.
A Sports Fest is conducted during the first week of January. The students take part in track and field events.
The anniversary of the school often falls in the second week of January. All the champions and academic achievers are awarded in the function. The students also get an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of parents and well wishers.
Clubs
The following clubs function in the school. The club activities are chalked out and conducted during the club meetings which are scheduled from 3p.m. to 4p.m.on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of a month.

2. Literary Club
3. Mathematics Club
4. Arts Club.
An Anti-drug club also functions with the support of the Excise Department. Various competitions and Seminars are conducted periodically.
Tours
Various tours are conducted during the last week of November which are aimed at fostering effective and beneficial social skills in Pupils. One day picnic for KG & Primary Classes,
1. One day tour for UP Section & High School Section
2. Long tour for Higher Secondary Section
Apart from the annual tours various departments take the students for study tours.
Adarsha Vidya Bhavan has a well-equipped Physical Training Department. The school boasts of a spacious play ground and the students enjoy the following outdoor games – Football, Volley Ball, Shuttle Badminton, Cricket and Kho-Kho.
The sports fest is conducted every year during the month of January. Competitions are conducted in all track and field events.
We cater to the specific hobby related needs by conducting hobby classes in the evening so that every child is able to participate in the field of choice to her heart content. She can develop her ability through a variety of activities such as Horse riding, Martial art, Manipuri dance, Judo Karate and Swimming.
A few minutes are spared in the morning for assembly every day and students, by rotation speak, thought for the day as well as the important news of the day and impart some information about educational facts and recent discoveries.
